In The Begining...
After five (5) years of experience cleaning private homes as my primary source of income, in October 2006 I registered Amanda's Maid Service as a sole proprietorship in Washington state.
End Of Round One!
January 2007 I completed my fourth quarter '06 taxes and got AmandasMaidService.com online and open for business.
Insured, Bonded, and now with First Employee
February 2007 has been extremely busy. I have become overbooked with clients and have many more customers patiently awaiting word of availability. I am now fully insured by Safeco for $2,000,000 and carry a $25,000 bond. I have hired Kara, many of you know her from BlockBuster, to be my first employee. She should be fully trained and ready for a full schedule by the end of the month.
Oh, how the time flys...
It's now April of 2008 and I'm pleased to report that business is still going strong and I am happy and well. Thank you, everyone, very much for all your support!
